Kyle Wiggins – East Brunswick: Kyle is the Bears premier back and has done great things to improve from last season. He has taken a leadership role on and off the field and his off-season work ethic has shown through his growth in his senior year. Kyle recently had a break out performance in week three against Monroe where he had 180 rushing yards on 19 attempts and scored three rushing touchdowns along with a defensive touchdown. He continues to get better as the season rolls on and is working to carry the Bears to a NJSIAA playoff berth. Kyle is hoping to play football on the next level and so far he is impressive!
Chelsea Stocki – East Brunswick: Chelsea is a first year cross country runner that played soccer in her first two years of high school. As a junior, she decided she wanted to run after having a great sophomore spring track season. She came onto the scene with a bang and won her first Red Division individual title with a time of 19:34. She has done this by improving each week. Her work ethic has been instrumental to the team’s success as well. She is a lead by example athlete and does all of the right things to succeed. She is currently ranked in the NJ.com top 20.
Kimberly Brites – Carteret: Kimberly is a freshman on the girls varsity soccer team. So far this season she has 13 goals including four this past week. She also adds four assists to her stat line.
Jalen Harris – Carteret: Jalen is a two-year starter and leader for Carteret Football. He leads by example with his tireless work ethic and dedication to excellence in the classroom. Jalen is a great example of the term student-athlete. The senior WR/CB had two catches for 23 yards and six tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery last week for the Ramblers.
Antonio Oliveira – St. Joseph: Tony has 12 goals and two assists in eight games so far this season. The senior has two four-goal games; against both Old Bridge and Perth Amboy.
Catie Koenig – Mother Seton: Katie scored four goals last week for the Setters. On Sept. 26 she netted two against South Amboy and on Sept. 28, in an exciting, back and forth game with Carteret, the senior scored two more, one of which was the game winning goal.
