The commotion in front of the net was downright chaotic, but the result was clear as day as junior Fabrizzio Reyestook off toward the stands after scoring the game-winner for 10th-seeded North Brunswick in a 2-1 in overtime win against fifth-seeded South Brunswick on Saturday in the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament final at Woodbridge High School.
The striker put away the final opportunity of the afternoon to lift North Brunswick to a come-from-behind victory that clinched the program’s first tournament title since 2005. The Raiders evened the score in regulation with 4:27 to go when sophomore Chris Scariano scored off an assist from junior D.J. Cobb.
