GAME OF THE WEEK
Piscataway at Old Bridge, 10:00 a.m. Saturday: Only one half game currently separates second-place Old Bridge and third-place Piscataway in the Red Division standings. The Knights topped the Chiefs 3-1 on the road on September 20 of this year. Piscataway will be seeking to gain some ground in the division, as well as some redemption.
1. East Brunswick (9-0-1) – Last week No. 1: Returning as our top-ranked team, the Bears had a fantastic week. After toppling Red Division rivals Piscataway and Old Bridge, the Bears notched a convincing 3-1 victory against Skyland Conference powerhouse Bridgewater-Raritan on Saturday. Sabria Glasgow leads the Bears with nine goals.
2. Old Bridge (5-3-1) – Last week No. 2: Last week was a tale of shutouts for the Knights. They blanked Monroe 4-0 on Tuesday but then were shutout themselves against East Brunswick on Thursday. The second-place Knights will try to stay ahead of Piscataway in the Red Division standings when they face off against the Chiefs on Saturday.
