Jordyn Horowitz – East Brunswick: Jordyn has been a four-year starter on the girls volleyball team and has grown to bea great leader on and off the court.She has spent countless hours on her own to improve her craft as an outside hitter and has helped the Bears program excel. She recently eclipsed the 500 career kills mark and looks to extend her school record. She is a “go to” hitter when there are crucial points in the game, the girls and coaches trust her abilities. Jordyn will be attending Gettysburg College in the fall to play volleyball and looks to obtain more accolades this year to add to her list which currently include: All Division honors, All GMC honors, Conference player of the year, 3rd team all-state, 1st team all group 4, and HNT Player of the Year. Jordyn is looking to help the Bears push deep into the NJSIAA playoffs.
James Schuld – East Brunswick: James is a football starter and captain for the Bears. His attitude on and off the field is something that his teammates and coaches respect. He has an attention to detail when it comes to watching film and preparing week to week. At this time, he is undecided on a college but is looking to play at the next level. This year he was a top passer in the GMC week three and looks to continue his dominating performances week to week. James is also looking to build off his last year’s accolades that include breaking the school record in total yards for a season, named to All Red Division and All GMC teams, named Max Preps team MVP and voted top offensive back for his team. James is a quality student-athlete and looks to lead the Bears to a multi-win season.
Alijah Vanterpool – Woodbridge Academy: Alijah is a senior goalkeeper and captain for the Woodbridge Academy Soccer Team. Alijah has been a staple to the defense for the last two years collecting 200+ saves with 71 coming this season. Alijah is coming off two big games including a 2-1 win over Edison Academy and a 2-2 overtime tie against Timothy Christian. He is a leader in the back and is always the first player to help a younger athlete get better.
