The J.P. Stevens boys tennis team already had the team title of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament locked up before it even arrived to Thomas Edison Park on Thursday, but the Hawks put an exclamation point on the championship by winning four of the five flights.
The only player not from J.P. Stevens to win a title was junior Jack Kosiorowski of St. Joseph (Met.), who beat freshman Derek Hsieh of J.P. Stevens in a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 three-set victory at first singles for his first career GMC title.
