Siddhi Joshi – Edison: Siddhi leads the Eagles volleyball team with 158 digs and 27 aces. The captain is also second on the team with 107 service points.
Jason Salazar – Edison: Jason has two goals in the GMC tournament so far. He plays every minute of every game at center midfield.
Lamont Harris – Perth Amboy: Lamont is the best runner in Perth Amboy history with a time of 16:46 for a home course record. He also had a course record at South Plainfield with a time of 16:48 and at North Brunswick with a time of 16:56. In addition, he ran a PAHS Course Record at Six Flags Great Adventure Meet.
Taysha Jordan – Perth Amboy: Taysha had nine service aces, 44 service points and 32 digs.
Carl Davis – Piscataway Tech: Carl anchored the soccer team’s defensive backline this past week not allowing a goal from his side. His positivity and vocal leadership are evident to anyone who watches him play.
Robert Saydee – Timothy Christian School: Robert is the goalkeeper for TCS. He added to his shutout total last week with a 2-0 win over Somerset Tech for his seventh clean sheet of the season. The junior is averaging six saves a game and has allowed just 12 goals in 14 games for a .86 goal per game average.
Sarah Solorzano – Timothy Christian School: Sarah is a senior at TCS and is captain of the varsity girl’s soccer team. She led the team her junior year in goals and assists, but was injured in the 3rd week of her senior year. She recovered faster than anyone expected and immediately made an impact for her team, scoring the winning goal against rival Highland Park. Sarah has picked up where she left off and is once again consistently leading the team in scoring and motivating those around her both on and off the field.
